History of theWall
When I was in middle school my art teacher Mr. McCoy assigned his students a sketch each week. The best were laminated and put up on the wall. Decades later I became a high school art teacher after 12 years in the advertising business as an art director. I now practice this method with my students called Weekly Illustration Practice (WIP). This page is a collection of student work (10-12) including student's WIPs. Those that receive high marks are immortalized for generations of students to view and become inspired. No matter who you are or how you find this site may it inspire you and show the importance of the arts in education.
Dedicated to all the art teachers that came before me, and those that will come after.
